About me
Two profound life events shaped my journey: my father’s diagnosis of terminal brain cancer, and the near loss of my child during childbirth. These experiences changed me deeply, and from that place of transformation and overcoming grief, Melanie Radley Photo was born.
In witnessing the delicate nature of life, I found myself inspired to help you preserve your most treasured moments—ensuring that these memories remain timeless.

Fun facts about me!
I grew up in Vancouver
We moved to Ottawa for my husband's job over 10 years ago (WOW!) and have stayed ever since. I love the snow in the winter and I absolutely hate the month of March. Spring blossoms rejuvenate me and I love the colourful warm days of fall.
Nothing beats a Romantasy.

I'm trying to be a runner.
I downloaded the graphic audio of Fourth Wing and used it to bribe myself into running - I only listen while I run. Slowly, it's become my favourite way to have me time! Look for me struggling through a half marathon near you!
I have always loved dogs!
I have a black lab named Shadow, we rescued him and he's 10 years old with no signs of slowing down. He barks at everyone when I walk him and he's always hungry. I'd have a house full of dogs if my husband let me. Want to bring your dog to a session? No problem. Big or little, I love them all!
My favourite way to recharge?
Slowing down at Spa Nordik or unwinding with a puzzle and audiobook!
